  • COHEN v. SALATA, 303 Ill. App.3d 1060, 709 N.E.2d 668 (1999) Dental Malpractice; Statute of Limitations. Attorney Carroll obtained a reversal of an Order Dismissing with Prejudice Plaintiff’s claim on the ground that it was time barred.

  • HAYES v. KAY CHEMICAL CO., 135 Ill. App.3d 932, 482 N.E.2d 611 (1985) Product Liability; Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a reversal of a dismissal of a product liability action; this ruling expanded the duty of a manufacturer of a toxic chemical. The case was one of first impression and was profiled in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

  • SEWELL v. WOFFORD, 131 Ill. App.3d 62, 475 N.E.2d 575 (1985); Personal Injury: Attorney Carroll obtained a reversal of a trial court ruling imputing the negligence of a driver to a passenger. This case was profiled in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.

  • SULLIVAN v. RODRIQUEZ, 100 Ill. App.3d 644, 427 N.E.2d 259 (1981) Personal Injury; Statute of Limitations Issue.

  • PEOPLE v. NIEVES, 99 Ill. App.3d 443, 425 N.E.2d 555 (1981) Narcotics; Jury Instruction Issue. Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a ruling affirming this conviction.

  • PEOPLE v. YOUNG, 96 Ill. App.3d 634, 421 N.E.2d 968 (1981) Felony Theft; Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a ruling affirming this conviction.

  • PEOPLE v. BOWMAN, 95 Ill. App.3d 1137, 420 N.E.2d 1085 (1981) Best Evidence Rule; Attorney Carroll prevailed in this case which is cited in one of the leading treatises on Evidence Law.

  • PEOPLE v. GRIFFIN, 94 Ill. App.3d 165, 418 N.E.2d 817 (1981) Rape; Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a ruling affirming the sentence given to the defendant in this case.

  • PEOPLE v. HAWK, 93 Ill. App.3d 175, 416 N.E.2d 717 (1981). Felony trial. Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a ruling affirming this conviction.

  • PEOPLE v. NEDELCOFF, 87 Ill. App.3d 849, 409 N.E.2d 316 (1980) Armed Robbery; Attorney Carroll successfully obtained a ruling affirming this conviction.

  • IN RE M.H., 85 Ill. App.3d 385, 406 N.E.2d 873 (1980) Juvenile case; reversed in part affirmed in part.
